Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage): Ayah/ Verse 58"Nine Pakistani soldiers were killed, seven in one ambush, during clashes over the past 24 hours in the northwest district of Swat, the top military spokesman said Thursday. “In 24 hours, we lost nine soldiers and about 10 of them (were) injured,” Major General Athar Abbas told AFP. Seven of the soldiers were killed when militants ambushed a convoy at the entrance to Mingora, the main town in the northwest Pakistan district. “The troop carrier was coming and there were seven soldiers killed in that. Two soldiers were killed somewhere in the valley north of Matta,” Abbas said."
